Rome came up with the concept of WalkThru while helping his grandfather navigate and onboard to Facebook, Google, Youtube, and other major sites and online activities. While he was completing his Masters in Finance from The Johns Hopkins University, he created the first prototype of WalkThru, which was incubated in the University’s Social Innovation Lab. Rome has 5+ years of experience in financial operations, business development, sales, and innovating mobile and web applications. On the other side of business, Rome has a deep understanding of the film and media industry. He has created many short films, two of which are featured on Amazon Prime, and one which screened at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival. Rome holds a Bachelors in Economics and Journalism from Rutgers University and a Masters in Finance from The Johns Hopkins University.
Rajiv is an experienced business development specialist with proven success in the electric power industry, focused on power electronics projects (HVDC, FACTS including SVCs and Series Compensation). He has a unique combination of strong technical expertise, good commercial contract negotiation and a deep understanding of financing and contractual relations for infrastructure projects. He is well versed in project development and implementation of infrastructure merchant generation and merchant transmission projects from inception to completion including interaction with financial institutions and other stakeholders. He has lived abroad for several years and has a valuable international perspective which helps with cultural sensitivity and adjusting to various contexts in the business realm. He holds a bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from NIIT, in India, and an MBA from the Leonard N. Stern School of business.
Efrem has been a big fan of WalkThru since he first saw the Company's Beta Demonstration in 2014 (at The Johns Hopkins University Social Innovation Lab) and is thrilled to serve as their inaugural Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). Mr. Epstein has been working in the areas of marketing, public relations and journalism for over 25 years and most recently served as CMO of Docz (now Elevatr) where he remains one of their Senior Advisers. Efrem is also the founder of Elijah's Journey, a 501c3 focused on the Suicide Awareness/Prevention in the Jewish Community and is a member of the National Action Alliance for Suicide Prevention's Faith Communities Task Force. He holds a BA in Sociology from The Johns Hopkins University and is believed to be the only marketing professional in NYC who has also passed four Society of Actuaries (SOA) Exams.
Bhavna is a creator, social media geek, event planner and a retail sales expert. Her eight years of experience has made her believe how one communicates with another person is the key to success. Bhavna’s retail sales experience translates from the store to the user's journey at WalkThru. She has worked with several large brands including Aeropostale, Charming Charlie’s, Bath & Body Works, Paper Source and Ann Taylor Loft. Bhavna draws on that very expertise to help insure that the WalkThru experience is integrated and seamless.
Ethan is an experienced full-stack software engineer with expertise in AI, machine learning, and NLP. His experience as a teaching assistant allows him to effectively mentor and coordinate interns from a wide range of backgrounds. Ethan holds a Bachelor’s in Computer Science and a Master’s in Mathematics from The Johns Hopkins University. With past projects including a DNS server, an Earley parser, a compiler, a game, and an anime recommendation system, he is ready to show you how a mathematician codes!
Sidharth brings 7+ years of professional experience in web and mobile application testing to WalkThru where he leads all testing and quality assurance efforts. Sidharth has worked with a variety of product organizations including Knorr-Bremse, Schlumberger and Reliance Jio and his career has prepared him to work in fast-paced teams and dynamic environments.
Brian started his career at the SEC analyzing and investigating securities fraud followed by 10 years in business consulting for Fortune 500 & Investment Companies. In 2015, Previously, the first VP at EdTech startup (Hack Reactor) and an education consultant for Autodesk, Brian specializes in corporate strategy and client partnerships for WalkThru.
Sanjay has over 20 years of experience in sales & marketing, most recently leading the go-to-market strategy, sales and business development for IBM. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chartered Institute of Marketing Diploma and a MBA.
Victor Gilberti is a financial advisory expert and an experienced startup entrepreneur. He has been performing business valuations with Timan LLC since 2007. Prior experience includes Managing Director of Professional Sector Management, an SEC Registered Private Client wealth management and Investment advisory firm. He joined PSM upon its incorporation in 1994. He was a registered investment advisor (RIA) and held a Series 65 securities license. He was also charter member of the Advisory Council of Fidelity Investments Institutional Brokerage Group. He has been featured speaker at numerous financial conferences throughout the country. In addition, since 2002 Mr. Gilberti has been a fee only financial advisor to individuals and small businesses and has been a court appointed estate executor and trust fund administrator. Mr. Gilberti earned his B.S. and M.S. degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and his MBA from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
Chalmers is currently a Co-founder & CTO of the fast growth startup, Due. Rome and Chalmers have been in collaboration since they attended Rutgers University together. Chalmers has in depth industry knowledge from business, growth, and technology strategy. Chalmers built the first version of WalkThru when it was targeted towards the older adult generation and users. Chalmers has helped WalkThru understand the key differentiators and user centric model for product development and roadmap.
Sashank has been diving deep into the code of WalkThru since its inception. Sashank understands the need for simple user experiences and has advised the team to focus on minimalistic yet effective design. Sashank brings industry experience working for consulting firms and product focused technology companies. He currently is a Sr. Lead engineer at Beyond Menu, a food technology startup based in Chicago. He uses his background of B2C markets to help WalkThru understand the fundamental principle of thinking as a B2C user even within a enterprise client. Sashank holds a bachelor's degree in Computer Science from NJIT.
Jeff Weinstein is a Senior Advisor for WalkThru lending his expertise to several areas of the company's technology and operations initiatives. Most recently he served as Senior Vice President and Head of Technology Strategy for the Federal Reserve Bank of New York where he functioned as the primary visionary, strategist, and change agent in several areas including IT investment priorities and innovation opportunities.
Jeff spent most of his prior career with GE Capital where he served in a wide variety of leadership positions rising from programmer to become the Chief Information Officer of the WMC Mortgage division. Jeff has also worked at Washington Mutual and Kaiser Permanente in multiple capacities.
